Rayon Sports have formally parted ways with Ugandan forward Charles Bbaale through a mutual agreement.
Having joined Rayon Sports from Uganda Premier League outfit Sports Club Villa in July 2023, Bbaale struggled to find regular playing time during his two seasons with the Rwandan side.
Bbaale, who scored on his Rwanda Premier League debut during his side's 2-1 victory over Gasogi United on 18 August 2023, has been out of Rayon Sports squad since late last year due to an injury.
Rayon Sports Spokesperson Roben Ngabo said that the Ugandan forward asked to leave Robertinho's side for two reasons, his injury and tough competition for playing time.
Bbaale, who netted twice in this season's league, is reportedly set for a shock return to Uganda Premier League, with SC Villa and Vipers both keen to sign him.
