Vision have recorded their fifth victory of the league season after edging Gasogi United 1-0 on Friday afternoon at Kigali Pele Stadium thanks to Musa Esenu's tap-in.
Esenu scored the goal that won the match for Lomami Marcel's side in the eighth minute, with a clore-range finish after a beautiful delivery from Prosper Rugangazi.
The Ugandan striker marked his third league goal since joing the club in January.
This was Vision's fifth Rwanda Premier League win in 23 matches and their second in the past eight, having drawn four and lost 14.
"We were poised for three points, and the victory encouraged us in this battle to stay in the league," said Vision head coach Lomami Marcel.
Despite winning today, Vision stayed at the bottom position of the league table with 19 points, four points adrift Marines, who is above the relegation zone but have a game in hand.
Gasogi United have gone five games without registering a victory and are ninth in the standings with 27 points, only six points clear of the relegation zone.
